You may withdraw your consent at any time by disconnecting your Instagram account or deleting your account.

Information We Collect

Information you provide:

  • Account information: Email address when you sign up
  • Instagram data: When you connect your Instagram account, we access your Instagram Insights data including post metrics, story metrics, and account analytics

Information collected automatically:

  • Browser type and version
  • Pages visited and time spent
  • IP address (anonymized)

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain our service
  • Store your Instagram analytics data
  • Generate CSV exports of your data
  • Send important service updates
  • Improve our service

Instagram Data

When you connect your Instagram Business or Creator account, we access:

  • Post insights (impressions, reach, engagement, likes, comments, saves, shares)
  • Story insights (impressions, reach, exits, replies, taps)
  • Account insights (follower count, profile visits)

We do not access your direct messages, post on your behalf, or access your followers' personal information.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Cloudflare's infrastructure. We use encryption for sensitive data including access tokens. We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data only:

  • With your consent
  • To comply with legal obligations
  • To protect our rights or safety

International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. Our servers are located in various Cloudflare data centers globally. When we transfer data internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of your data
  • Export: Download your data via CSV export
  • Delete: Request deletion of your account and all associated data
  • Disconnect: Remove connected Instagram accounts at any time

Data Deletion

To delete your data:

  • Use the Settings page to disconnect accounts and delete your account, or
  • Contact us at privacy@saveinsights.com

Upon deletion, all your data including stored Instagram metrics will be permanently removed within 30 days.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. Specifically:

  • Account information: Retained until you delete your account
  • Instagram analytics data: Retained until you disconnect the account or delete your account
  • Access tokens: Retained until you disconnect the account or the token expires

After account deletion, we will remove all your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.

Cookies

We use essential cookies only for:

  • Keeping you logged in (session cookie)
  • Security purposes

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
