1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Save Insights ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Save Insights is a tool that helps you save and export your Instagram analytics data. We connect to Instagram's API to retrieve your insights and store them for your access.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Ensuring you have rights to connect the Instagram accounts you add

You must only connect Instagram accounts that you own or have explicit permission to manage.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Connect Instagram accounts you do not own or have permission to access
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the Service
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without permission
  • Abuse the API or attempt to circumvent rate limits
  • Use the Service to violate Instagram's Terms of Service

6. Instagram API

Our Service uses Instagram's API. By using our Service, you also agree to comply with Instagram's Terms of Use and Platform Policy. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram or Meta.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our collection and use of data as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled maintenance
  • Technical issues
  • Changes to Instagram's API
  • Circumstances beyond our control

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Save Insights shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data beyond what is stored in our Service
  • Actions taken by Instagram or Meta affecting your account
  • Service interruptions or data loss

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may terminate your account at any time through the Settings page.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ontario, Canada.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also be entitled to bring proceedings in your country of residence.

14. Dispute Resolution

Before filing a claim against Save Insights, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at support@saveinsights.com. We will try to resolve the dispute informally within 30 days.

If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, you and Save Insights agree to resolve any claims relating to these Terms or the Service through final and binding arbitration, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if your claims qualify.

Class Action Waiver: You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Save Insights and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of another party
  • Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms shall remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Save Insights regarding your use of the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
